Alex Smith is a very smart, game manager. He is not going to win many games, but hes not going to lose any. He has a philosophy that a punt, or taking a sack is better than a turnover. Comprehension is not one of your stronger skills, is it? The people on this board DO NOT CARE what YOU think of Alex Smith. They have formed their own opinions, based on their own observations. Come back in a year, after he MAYBE plays well for them. Not you, nor me, nor any other 49ers fan will change their opinions. In fact, for a lot of the posts I've seen, it isn't just that it's Alex Smith, it's a 2nd rd pick and a conditional 3rd rd pick next year that have them pissed off. Trying to get them to see the light about Alex is like running into a brick wall repeatedly. Do you know the definition of insanity? It's been posted on this thread several times.
