yea, hes better than Cassel in the sense that he has a high enough football IQ to know what he sucks at and is self aware of his physical limitations with his noodle arm, and thus refuses to try and make tight throws that separate the men from the boys at the position. he's gun shy from all his failures in the NFL
but that also enables him to be really good at being an efficient game manager and hes kind of accepted that role as the "best current game manager in the NFL" and we just have to hope we catch some "Trent Dilfer once in every 15-20 years lightning in a bottle crap QB to the Super Bowl with really really good positional play" type effect here
