Apparently not, Im sure he has half a brain, why would you insult him like that. Yes brakes are not difficult but clearly there is a way to make things worse.
It is definitely a problem with the ABS, that will also set the TCS light. Check the wires to the wheel speed senosrs, when you zip tied the calipers back you may have pulled one of the wheel speed sensors wires out of place.
I doubt its a broken tone ring or the problem would have been there before the brake replacement.
