You're also forgetting that we were cheering for losses because wins did NOTHING for the team. They only entrenched Cassel and Pioli as the rightful masters of the team. We needed every single one of those losses.
The #1 overall pick will NEVER cost you a QB, because if he's good enough to be thought of as a potential franchise guy, he's good enough to be taken at 1.1.
