You're also forgetting that we were cheering for losses because wins did NOTHING for the team. They only entrenched Cassel and ***** as the rightful masters of the team. We needed every single one of those losses.

The #1 overall pick will NEVER cost you a QB, because if he's good enough to be thought of as a potential franchise guy, he's good enough to be taken at 1.1.
and if he is taken, (any qb) and you miss completely on him, that sets your franchise back 3 years minimum, because its going to be at least 2 years before they truly give up on him. Thats why you have to be sure.....
