I think if he was their guy, we'd already know it. They don't really have anything to gain by blowing smoke if their actual intention is to draft him. It's not like anybody can leapfrog them.
They seem really interested in trading down. Which if it happens means he ain't our pick whether they like him or not.

I think their poker match is with Albert. They are showing he and his agent that they are willing and able(#1 pick) to roll without him. That alone should bring his price down if he truly wants to stay here as he says. Then we shop him for a 2nd and a future and get zero takers(that we know of) and he gets an idea of how the rest of the league values him. A top LT should garner a 2nd and change easy. Now, we ride our bluff until he cracks, or draft day. Whichever comes first.
