You do have to admit DL's early sound is nothing like their current sound, though. (Speaking of, I've heard that when DL plays in America, they stick close to their pop sounding hits, but when they play in Britain, they play a ton of their older, heavier songs. Kind of sucks since their early stuff is what interested me, although I'm sure they and their bank accounts are just fine with it)

I agree. It makes sense though. They built themselves at home with their early stuff and they broke through big with pyro/steria here.
The comparison that comes to mind for me is Green Day. I'm sure that's not a perfect comparison either, but there's quite a bit of difference between Green Day 93 and Green Day 2K. Or maybe between My Chemical Romance's early stuff and their Black Parade and later stuff.
