To be fair, that's the general rule here on CP. If someone pisses you off, try to insult them in anyway to get a rise out of them. When you do, you win but shame on you for doing it, and shame on them for having feelings about something said on a message board.
We've all done it to extents. It's all stupid. It's baiting someone to get them to turn ape shit from what you've said to them, then gloating at how they take the internet too seriously. But it is what it is and many posters have stopped posting because of these "baiting" arguments that blow up out of proportion.
By the way, I'm not trying to say he or you are more wrong, but clearly the baiting was two sided. You poke at people, he pokes at people. You both were poking at each other. He said the more worse thing and the dogpile started. Then he did filter evasion which we all know is clearly worse than anything else.
The worst thing of it all, Gaython gets to look like he's got any say in this place and gets quotes to use for any slow day to promote his attention whoring.
