Dead is dead....last time I looked it tends to be permanent. I care about saving lives and doing the most with the resources at hand, which means you attack the problems that matter and the ones that you can make a difference with. You don't go attacking problems that are statistically miniscule with solutions that can be proved to have no measurable impact. That isn't saving lives, that's promoting bigotry.
