The reason I ask, is I just bought a weapon...and the seller insisted on using an FFL...I looked it up and there were quite a few near me....I chose a guy who did the whole thing for $25.00, AND I got an awesome deal on the weapon....
I guess I'm missing something because it seems like it wouldnt be too difficult to find an ffl, no matter where you lived.......

Going through an FFL doesn't bother me in most cases (gun show, retail sale, or internet sale) However, what if you want to hand your favorite gun down to your son, buy your son his first hunting rifle, or if you trade out some work in exchange for a firearm?
