I'm just devastated by this as a Laker fan. I fell asleep early last night and woke up at 4 AM and saw this news. Just awful for the greatest player I'll ever have on one of my sports teams in my lifetime.
I don't blame Pringles though. I hate that MF, but Kobe is going to play the minutes Kobe wants to play.
I just read a rumor on Twitter that D'Antoni is already tired of the pressure of Lakerland and will likely work on a buyout over the summer. Howard has gone to management and told them he wants Phil next year so I expect some type of smoothing over process if this were in fact true.
I don't think the Phil bridge is completely burned.
