If you go back to the Frank Ganz year, when the team finally made the playoffs for the first time in well over a decade, mainly due to special teams play, the players all lobbied for Ganz.
Wasn't it Albert Lewis that went to ownership begging for Ganz? I am just going from memory, but I think that is correct. At the time all we really had was newspaper articles.
Then when he got the job, he was over his head and it was a total disaster, very similar to RAC. We all know the Gunther story, very similar.
