Of course he did! The man was beat out by Steve DeBerg (among others). He grew exponentially under Bill Walsh.

I disagree. With the WCO, you need an accurate, smart QB that can read defenses and distribute the ball. You don't need a guy that throws for 350 yards a week in order to win.
