Since they are apparently not going to try for a double-header tomorrow, if tomorrow's game gets cancelled, Boston will probably be forced to make it up in KC, and we'd get an extra home game. Here are the open dates common to both teams:

June 3rd, we're travelling from Texas back to KC. June 3rd would also violate the CBA's rules on needing a day off after 20 days, so it is not an option at all.

June 24th, we're in KC the day before and after. Absolutely not flying to Boston.

July 1st, we're travelling from Minnesota back to KC. They wont make us fly to Boston.

July 29th, we're travelling from Chicago to Minnesota. July 29th would also violate the CBA's rules on needing a day off after 20 days, so it is not an option at all.

August 26th would also violate the 20 day rule, so it is not an option.

The only day that is really available is July 18 right after the All-Star break. I do not think they will make us spend the day we were planning for travelling to Detroit, to go to Boston instead.

edit: actually never mind about July 18. We think of the all-star break as 3 days, but in the CBA it is 4 days. July 18 is completely unavailable.

So, in other words, they HAVE to play tomorrow?
