There were 131 million total votes in 2008 and 129 in 2012.
So, if you assume that the two million who stayed at home all voted for Romney, you're still three million short of a plurality.
So, what exactly is your point, other than your complete lack of evidence and understanding of principles of addition?
You realize that John McCain was even less conservative than Mitt Romney, don't you? If they stayed home for Romney, they sure as hell didn't vote for McCain.
