Just pointing this out, but that goes against what's been reported. The reports were that Miami could talk to his agent, but not to Albert himself, which prevents them from giving him a physical. Reid said that wasn't happening unless a trade was agreed to, similar to what's now happening with Revis.
If they had agreed to a trade, they would have no reason to prevent Albert from meeting with them. A contract's not getting done without that happening.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but it's also been reported that even though the story didn't come out until Thursday or so, Miami has been able to talk to Albert's agent for over a week now. Maybe there's a reason Reid said he thought the whole thing was a dead issue.
