Keeping Albert doesn't make any sense if they have no intentions of giving him a long term deal. If they are certain he won't be around for long, they might as well go through the pains of re-shuffling the line now (when they have a lot of options on the table) and work on forming a long-term starting line up now instead of delaying the inevitable.
