No doubt it was a mistake. He should have gone back to Glass and seen if he could get more money to extend Cabreroid. It's not exactly a Cashman-esque mistake of trading away one of the best minor league bats for a damaged goods pitcher who wouldn't throw for you that year.
The only thing that really matters is that none of Daytons SP have made it to the big leagues and proved a success and at this point really none of his hitting has either.
I'll drop it at this point I just think it's a lot of crying about spilled milk when all your cows are sickly and dying. Up 2-0 go Royals!
