Trent Green was not an accurate downfield passer, for the most part. The offense required him to hit his spots and he always hit his spots. And he didn't make bad decisions. But he wasn't a guy who hit players in stride. Too many times I saw a pass get thrown at a player's shoes instead of in his breadbasket. He didn't throw great out routes or throw accurate back shoulder throws. In fact, his stats would have been downright gaudy if he did.
He was an incredibly intelligent QB who knew where to throw the ball and could get it there.
