Previously, I've gotten some very positive responses from this message board on my musical endeavors (
This thread) so I figured I'd share what I've been working on over the past year.
It's somewhat of a new direction for me. Very post-rock influenced instrumental, with a prog-experimental vocal overlay.
Currently we are writing a concept album based on stories found in an old notebook from that of an elder whom had been stuck in a living community as a window without communication from his kids. Random words of wisdom… to personal feelings… to stories of childhood, the notebook is being pieced together and transcribed into musical format by us. As stories are translated, they are labeled with the page number and an alias.
I've done the recording/production on these demos myself in home studio.
I'm getting better, but still have a lot of work to do.
