Buffalo probably went the best route. Get their stop gap guy for a year for peanuts and than turn it over to their 1st round QB. I'd prefer their situation to anyone else that was in the market for a starting QB.

The Cardinals have options next year with keeping there second or third round picks not investing them in Alex Smith. They could come away with a top draft prospect next year and we still will be left with out one.
