when your getting blown out on shitty teams of course your gonna throw the ball more and you have to throw into coverage and stats are always gonna be worse and very scewed. All you had to do was watch the Chiefs last year. Hell Carson Palmer as well. All garbage time stats TDs Yrds and also garbage time incompletions and ints. You thought the Chiefs were bad last year, look at the teams Smith played on 05 06 07. they were dead last in Defense all three years. YOu keep talking about this stat, but you write nothing about how bad the team itself was. All this predicates a Qbs numbers, with is exactly why they have tried to come up with a new rating system. QBR, I dont know if its much better but it is put in place to filter out all these things your speaking of. Picking up garbage tds and throwing more to play catch up. You didnt really do much research, you just looked at attempts. This is why we are fans and the other guys evaluate situations.
