Pretty interesting to look back at Andy Reid's work showing why he is so good with QB's.

Before going to Philly, Mike Vick was an inaccurate running QB who never threw 3,000 yards. He also never averaged 30 passes a game in his career.

Once he got coached by Reid, he looked drastically better. His first year starting in 2010 was incredible for his standards. He completed over 60% of his passes, only threw 6 INT's and had a 100 QBR.

Then in 2011 he kept his completion % to 60%, threw even more yards and exceled to a better passing QB than he ever was in Atlanta.

Then last year, even with the OL trouble, he threw a lot more yards. He was on pace to have almost 3,800 passing yards. Yes that's right. You read that right.
All of this was with Vick throwing 30 or more passes on average.

Now to look at Alex Smith. The last 2 years, Alex Smith was 9-3 when he threw the ball 30 times a game with 14 TD's to 7 INT's (3 INT's were in one game).

Last year Alex Smith was on pace to throw 24 TD's and have around 3,300 passing yards in Harbaugh's conservative offense.

According to the stats, it's not out of the question that Alex Smith has a good year. I think it's definitely possible for him to throw 25 TD's and 3,400 yards in this more aggressive offense.
