It depends on how far you go. If you're only going about 30 minutes you should be OK. If it's longer, take a short break every half hour or so. The worst thing you can have them do is focus on something in the car like a book or DVD player. Anything to distract them and keep their eyes moving will help. Fresh (cool) air should help.
