The other thing that hasn't been discussed, and it's a small but important point, is that George is used to having Hibbert behind him. He can overplay or be half a step slow because the the guy with the ball knows even if he gets by George, he'll have Hibbert to deal with. George was a half step slow on that last play, and he didn't have Hibbert to clean up behind him.
