It's just how it works. Like your physician telling you they won't refill BP meds without an exam once a year. They could be sued.

There is no way a dentist will be held accountable for an pre-existing condition. You can barely hold them accountable for the stuff they do.
It's only been like 10 months since i last went in anyway
oh well ... they just lost a patient.
