It is generally in your best interests to avoid routing connections to the TV and then back from the TV into another component, as it can cause additional issues with digital handshakes. It won't absolutely cause a problem, but it further complicates the matter.
If you want to check your TV's Netflix, hook the RCA cables up from your TV's output to the Receiver's Aux (TV). If that works you know you're outputting analog sound ok, so it's a fallback if you need it.
You'll also need to make sure that your 360's digital output is properly configured.
