16 and 19 isn't actually illegal in Missouri - but these cops either didn't know that or were hard up to scare the shit out of a college aged kid that probably shouldn't have been dating HS juniors.
They had the kid dead certain he was going to jail, as he and my folks told the story. The poor bastard was scared right out of his mind.
