You only HAVE TO because we always have.
I have no issue with Clark Kent or his backstory. That stuff is great, and I hope MoS treats that material well. I just mean once he's Superman, why does he also have to be a regular dude? Why does he have to be a reporter who wears glasses?
In fact, why do we have to call him Superman? Can't he just be Clark Kent and fly around saving the world and whatnot?
The whole thing just feels silly anymore.
