And as it turns out, they were also wrong in their suspicions. They may have been doing their jobs but they wrong in everything from their assessment of the situation to their handling of it.

Possibly, yes. I'm taking issue with the people who immediately place ALL the blame on the agents.
Does anyone think that any of this would have happened if the girls had just cooperated with the one, female agent to begin with?
