I've watched a lot of his at bats. He is vulnerable to the slider under his hands inside. If I was a team I'd not throw him anything but that pitch. He is going to have to learn to hit that pitch to be a long time success in MLB.
I'm sure teams are taking notice. I think we should hang on to him and see if this 1B/RF log jam resolves itself. Would any of us be surprised if Beltran tweaks his knee and is out 2-6 weeks? If Taveras can play CF and Beltran moves on next year..........there are just too man realistic possibilites that we will need Adams to trade him.
