Oh say can you see
in the fireworks' light
Why the toddlers all wailed
And the kids were all screaming
The dogs are all barking
And all howling in fright
O'er the crying we watched
And were silently steaming.
And the chatters' loud blare
Conversation in air
Gave proof through the night
That the jerks were still there
O say does that star-spangled
banner yet flow,
O'er the land of the rude
and the home of the slow.
