The first half hour of Avatar was magical. The closest I have come to the amazement of watching Star Wars in the theater as a child. Then I realized it was nothing more than a completely predictable, shameless ripoff of multiple better movies that I had already seen wrapped in a beautiful 3D package. I stayed until the end, but really, there was no need to. Yes, I knew he'd ride the giant red bird thing in a desperate battle to defeat the evil white people as soon as I saw the ****ing skeleton of the dead one.
