I haven't read through all this, but the quote here made me chuckle a bit.
What is the supporting evidence for this comment?
A quick look at Denver's 2013 schedule, I'll throw this out as the worst case scenario - and I'll project a split with AFCW teams just for giggles. So, that's 3-3 ... but I really think it will be 4-2 worst case, but let's say 3-3.
Ravens, @ Giants,
Eagles, @ Cowboys, Jaguars, @ Colts, Redskins, @
Patriots,
Titans, @ Texans ...
Worst case ... that's 9 wins (3-3 division), 10 wins using my (4-2 divisional comment). I think the Giants and Colts are strong matchups and Denver can win those too, but both teams are talented and they are away games - much like WAS in Denver and @ HOU ... it's a tough schedule. They won't be 13-3... but 10-11 wins is a good season and that will win the AFCW.
I think KC will be improved... but 11 or more wins? I don't see it, not saying it can't happen, but I don't see it. They'll need a hell of a turn around and a catastrophic failure in Denver. The only real difference in the schedules with our two teams ... Denver plays the Ravens and Patriots while KC plays the Browns and Bills. That's not enough to change the dynamics.
Regarding the guy with the DUI ... he made a dumb decision, if it cost him his job, so be it. I'm losing no sleep on that one.
