JFC, they aren't attempting to circumvent anything. At issue is the state's "Stand Your Ground" law, which I assume was at some point passed by the state's legislature. So, now it is breaking an oath of office and subverting the constitution to vote to repeal a legislature-made law?

My opinion has nothing to do with the law itself. I don't know the details of it. But a rep should be allowed to vote on a law without being accused of treason.
