You want the stand your ground law repealed because the media suckered you into their story? You probably never even knew the law existed until recently. You're letting a bad incident out weigh the good. If someone were to try to stab you out on the street and you shot them, you've just used the stand your ground law...instead of murder 2 since you didn't try to run.
Stand your ground and CCW have lowered violent crime over the last ten years. You seem like the one who wants to go back to the good old days and let the "militia" and gangs kick your ass while you're unable to protect yourself.
BTW...Stand Your Ground wasn't used as a defense in this case, IIRC??? I didn't see the whole trial so feel free to correct me.
