If he's no better, Reid was a sham of a coach that lucked into any success he had in Philly, because with how Smith has been getting better, there's no reason for a regression to a level of marginal backup quality. Cassel is barely a solid backup whose in a battle with possibly the worst starter in the NFL. If that's all we can expect from Smith, Reid is and always was a joke.
