But for years people have been talking about getting Gruden or Cowher out of the studio and onto the sidelines, and that's just not what I want to do. I see going with Reid as a similar kind of deal.

Some good stuff here. I just am of the opinion that the team needs some sure fire good will. Reid probably won't be here for more than five years let alone 15, but like Fisher for the Rams or Fox for the Broncos, it may not be a homerun, but its a solid double off the wall hire.
