Jenkins isn't going to beat anyone for the ball downfield, but he's very quick off the line and making his breaks. Give him a set pattern and a lead with the ball and he'll be able to make things happen out of it with yards after the catch. He's much better suited to Alex Smith and Reid's west coast system.
The change will give both players the opportunity to play to their individual strengths. Whether they achieve the production of their lofty first round draft status is hypothetical at this point, they both will have a better opportunity to do so with this change.

I understand where you're coming from...AS as a pro, Baldwin seems like he plays much slower than his time indicates. I think the DB's are much better in the NFL and it will and has effected his game.
