My take based on what I am hearing out here.
Bottom line: The NFL front office screw up by allowing earlier info to leak out when it shouldn't have, was used by the Broncos lawyers to keep his suspension only at 6 games; otherwise he very well could have been suspended a min 8 games if not the whole season thus the prolonged delay of a decision because the Broncos were lobbying for 6 min games or they(Broncos) come out and expose the lack of competency/integrity and make a huge issue about the leak by the NFL. Result:Broncos get their 6 games and the NFL gets their 'mea culpa'.
