I noticed that too.
I actually get embarrassed for other people in situations like that. I often have to turn the channel when I see people making a fool of themselves on television.
If he's anything like me, he was just trying his best not to notice the trainwreck-in-progress. I believe he was also yet to perform so maybe he was just trying to get in the zone.
