You joke, but Thai and Vietnamese take a back seat to Italian alone in St. Louis. The family that runs Thai Gai Yang on the Loop have [or used to have] 4 other restaurants on that block, each with a different aspect of Thai cuisine, casual, formal, French influenced, etc.

Serbian food is making a surge in popularity in the Morganford/Gravois area with the recent influx of Serbs to the area.
