Anyway, back to the article, you are correct. There are "sacred cows" on both sides of the aisle. There are, of course, partisans who seem to follow the party line with a religious fervor not unlike fans of different NFL teams. So much that our Presidential election takes on the atmosphere of the Super Bowl and the lesser elections are like playoff games leading up to it.
