Still kind of wild to think that 33% of this countries wealth is controlled by the top 1%. I wonder how much influence that 1% has on selection of candidates that appear on the ballots during any given election cycle.
This issue is global so it's happening even in socialist countries. Too much wage pressure from low-income competitors worldwide, and too rapidly rising costs for benefits particularly health.
