He was the biggest upgrade available via FA or trade and there was every reason to believe he'd quickly take the the system and immediately improve our turnover ratio.

I'm not an Alex fan but I believe all that is true.

I'm also glad he wasn't immediately named the franchise QB and signed long term. Hope for the best but be prepared for the worst...
