Um, so you are talking about 2006. You know the year that Vernon Davis WASNT very good. In fact he wasn't that good until Singletary sent his ass to the locker room in 2008. Pretty much up to that point he was an underachiever. Antonio Bryant, had 40 catches that season, and soon after imploded. Here is the talent that was around Alex Smith that season. im not about excuses, but in 2006 alex smith threw 15 more tds than the season before despite not having great talent. His starting receivers were Antonio Bryant, and arnaz battle.......STUDS.
