I am not sure what you get this 2-27 from in your signature. But the 49ers made it to the playoffs last season with Smith as their starting QB for most of the season. He has only been in the league since 2011, so don't be so quick to judge him because of a few bad games in previous seasons. And for the record, they got demolished by the Seahawks yesterday with Kopernick as their QB.
