I met someone new, and I was talking to them about how I used to write. They said that my face lit up when I talked about it and wondered why I did so in the past tense. I sat down with a pencil and paper (totally old school), and busted out a poem this weekend. Felt pretty good.
There's a poetry slam on March 21. I hear it's really cool, and I'm going. I'll shoot you an invite on Facebook.
