I was 5 when SW IV came out and we saw it when it first came out at the Glendale on Metcalf. We went to TONS of movies back then, once a week at the Twin Drive-in, another at Truman Corners during the weekend. I have no idea how my parents had the prescience to make the trek over to the Glendale opening weekend for that show [we probably saw 5 movies there from 5yo-10yo], but I'm glad they did.
It's amazing how much SW stands out. No way to prove it, but I feel I could still quote that movie today if I had only seen it that one time. Plus, they had a life-sized Darth Vader in the lobby. That was impressive to a 5 yo.
