The Governor and his crew surprise attack the prison (similar to the version in the TV show) and essentially destroy everything. Carl gets his eye blown out, Lori is still alive but she gets shot and so does the baby while shes running with her. Pretty brutal. Thats when Rick snaps and starts to hear the phantom phone calls.
